Overview
The Department of Social Development – Shakawe Food Relief Services invites applications from suitably qualified residents of Okavango for the position of Labourer. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with handling and storage of food commodities, ensuring efficiency in warehouse operations.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary Scale: A3 (P34,740 – P39,460 per annum)
- Leave: 20 working days per year
- Benefits:
- Optional Contributory Medical Aid Scheme (Government pays 50% and employee pays 50%)
- Contributory Pension Scheme (Government pays 15% and employee pays 5%)
Key Responsibilities
- Offloading and loading food commodities for redistribution to beneficiaries.
- Cleaning storage facilities and ensuring hygiene standards are maintained.
- Assisting in arranging stock to facilitate easy access and proper record-keeping.
- Undertaking any other related duties as directed by management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum Qualification: PSLE
- Age Requirement: 18-45 years
- Experience: Not required (No prior experience needed)
